What each choice actually changes

Plain-language guidance, not sales copy. If a cheaper option is the right one for your job, we'll say so.

Spiral vs. perfect bound

Spiral lies completely flat — which is why planners and workbooks use it. Perfect binding glues the spine like a paperback: cleaner on a shelf, cheaper past 500 units, but it won't stay open on a desk. For a planner people actually write in, choose spiral.

Cover stock & lamination

Standard cover is 300gsm art card. Matte lamination hides fingerprints and photographs well; gloss makes colours pop but shows every smudge. Soft-touch is the one that makes people say 'this feels expensive' — worth the 22% for a premium gifting SKU.

Inner paper

70gsm offset is the default and takes ballpoint cleanly. Go 100gsm if your buyers use fountain pens or markers and you want zero ghosting. We can also print dot-grid, ruled, blank or a fully custom inner layout at no extra charge.

Questions we get about this product

What's the minimum order for custom notebooks?

100 pieces per design. Below that we can still run it as a sample batch, but the per-piece rate roughly doubles because the setup cost gets spread over fewer units. Most Instagram stationery brands start at 100–250 to test a design, then reorder 500–1,000 once it sells.

Can you print my full-colour cover artwork?

Yes — full CMYK across the whole cover, edge to edge, at no extra cost. Colour is colour; we don't charge per ink. Send AI, PDF or a 300 DPI PNG. If your file is low-res we'll tell you before printing, not after.

How much cheaper is 1,000 vs 100?

Meaningfully. An A5 spiral 80-page notebook is roughly Rs. 180/pc at 100 units and about Rs. 113/pc at 1,000 — around 37% off. The calculator above shows the exact break for your spec. Setup cost is fixed, so volume is where the savings live.

Do you make planners with custom inner pages?

That's most of our November–January workload. Send your inner layout — monthly spreads, habit trackers, whatever — and we print it as-is. Designing the inner from scratch is a paid design job; printing your existing layout costs nothing extra.

Can I get one sample before ordering 500?

Yes. We'll produce a single physical sample at a flat cost, and we credit that cost back against your bulk order when you place it. It's the right move before a big planner run.
